Sue Lloyd is a friendly, approachable, safe and caring Pilates Instructor with over 15 years teaching experience. She is married with two daughters and lives in Henley on Thames. During her years as a fitness instructor, Sue has seen the value of Pilates and the way that it changes people and how effective it is in complementing other exercise regimes, giving people a hidden strength which improves performance. Sue trained with Pilates Training Solutions (PTS), the training company that was asked to write the content for the Level 3 qualification materials in the UK. The PTS training programme has a specific clinical focus and emphasises the role of Pilates in injury prevention and rehabilitation. Sue studied spinal pathologies and postural analysis as part of her training and can advise clients on specific programmes and moves that will benefit them according to their needs. Sue is registered on the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) as an Advanced Instructor Level 3 Pilates Teacher (Membership No. R0045790). Sue is also a Level 4 Specialist Instructor in the Management of Low Back Pain.
Sue feels that exercise should be enjoyable and she strives to help all her clients feel confident and comfortable, as well as challenged. She has many loyal clients who have been coming to see her for most of the time she has been teaching Pilates, and before that aerobics and aqua aerobics. Sue likes to keep classes small to ensure that everyone gets high quality hands on tuition.
Sue is constantly seeking to develop her professional standards with regular update days and through her own personal practice.

“Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness. In order to achieve happiness, it is imperative to gain mastery of your body. If at the age of 30 you are stiff and out of shape, you are old. If at 60 you are supple and strong then you are young.” = Joseph Hubertus Pilates
